I know you guys are dying for Vegas stories, and I promise they will come. But I'm waiting for some pictures to illustrate the story, and I have some other business to attend to in the mean time.
I'm dying for some suggestions for our DJ, and who better to turn to than you guys? Certainly the Halfstreet readers have attended a wedding or two in your day (ha, or 100). Give me 2 songs that absolutely get you on the dance floor, or that it's just not a wedding without. Feel free to give me more, like I said, I'm struggling. Ready...GO!

The Chicken Dance!
Okay, totally kidding. I'll have to put some thought into this.
Ok now, Erin took one of my choices!!! You did LOVE doing the chicken dance at St. Peter and Paul Kindergarten in Schwabisch-Gmund! Is the hokey pokey a possibility??
You know Daddy, he'll probably suggest the Aggie War Hymn!
P.S. Love the pink bike!!!
Come on people! I'm serious here! I need some suggestions!
Did you think we wouldn't suggest...."Apple Bottom Jeans...."?
They have a bunch of good ideas on iTunes essentials. I always look at workout music for good dance songs. They also have essentials by decade so if you want some 80s or some 00s, that'll help, too.
Come on Eileen
Dancing Queen or any other ABBA song
You're the One that I Want or any other song from Grease
YMCA
Listen... if you really want people on the dance floor, go for cheese...
We did all of the above as well as The Chicken Dance AND even the Hokey Pokey at our wedding (I am not ashamed to admit it - cheese = fun).
I've never seen so many on a dance floor at a wedding... EVER...
FYI - I have the photo evidence of Erin and Mike doing The Chicken Dance and enjoying it!
Lisa, you must be confused, that must be someone else that looks similar to me performing this so called chicken dance ;)
hey ya by outkast & toxic by brit. definitely.
Oh man, this is tough......
Humpty Dance is probably one of my all time favorite songs to dance to. I absolutely love Bon Jovi at a wedding...Living on a Prayer, especially. Sweet Caroline, Friends In Low Places, You Shook Me All Night Long...all good too, in my opinion.
I will admit, Lisa, that I had a blast at your wedding dancing the night away. I vaguely remember a conga line, too!
I second Come On Eileen and Dancing Queen--those would get me out on the floor
Hello, I'm monopolizing this thread! Anyway, the family and I were just having a dance session to Rock Your Body--although anything JT would do great!
Mike, you leave me no choice but to email your Sister an incriminating "Chicken Dance" photo.
Time to get definitive on the dance songs: Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive", Beatles "Twist and Shout", Sister Sledge "We are Family", and for my slow dance entry Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight"
