For the love of God. Please. End. The. Writer's. Strike. My TIVO is empty. My wii partner is playing real football (why he would do that when he has virtual bowling at home, I have no idea.) And I'm reduced to watching CLASH OF THE FREAKIN' CHOIRS. For pete's sake writers, have you no mercy? In these desperate times I've learned the following things:
1. When you have talent, no one cares how crazy you are (ahem Patti LaBelle. She's bat shit crazy, but can still sing the hell out of Somewhere Over the Rainbow)
2. Just because you can sing doesn't mean you have rhythm (ahem Team Lachey--seriously how hard is it to SWAY TO THE BEAT)
3. Some people should not be allowed to do live television (ahem Maria Menounos--you're really cute, but wow. Awkward much?
Anywhooo. In case anyone is handicapping this stuff, I'm picking Team LaBelle to go all the way. She's Patti LaBelle. Come on. Nick, you're cute. Real cute. And I'm sure Jessica is kicking herself, but I just don't see it happening. And Blake Shelton, I'm sure 3/4 of the viewing audience has no idea who you are, but I do. And I like that you did a lot with the hand you were dealt, but again...no match.
Was I the only person watching this tonight??

I must say you are probably right that Patti will win, but personally I find her singing painful - for god sake Patti, pick a note and go with it. Just because you can hit every note doesn't mean you should do it every time the song changes a chord.
If I hadn't been told about this show yesterday by my co-workers I would be saying, "What are you talking about?!?" I still think Wii tennis or bowling played by oneself is better than that!
Time to fill up your netflix/blockbuster cue. We started to watch 1st season of Dexter, a showtime series. It can be a bit violent but it is really good. I didnt watch Battle of the Choirs but I am sure it is TV genius
I am with you. Please god... let the strike end. I miss McDreamy and McSteamy. One can only watch so much Deal or No Deal. But at least my Guitar Hero game is improving dramatically...

I fell victim to it Tuesday night... but missed the 'results' show or whatnot. How long is it going on anyway?! I do like group singing...or group dancing...group humiliation - I am not particular. My favorite part of American Idol is the (even more) cheesy part when all sing together so naturally this junk is right up my alley.
