Who knew the Owls advancing to the World Series would only be one of TWO exciting things that happened this weekend?! On Saturday our seats at the game were right in front of Rice catcher Danny Lehman's aunt and uncle. So what, you ask? Well, his aunt and uncle are Beth and Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter. If you've ever watched his show on TV, let me just say, he is exactly like that in person. Very nice, very eccentric, and very over the top. He even struck up a conversation with Lawrence, and I got to shake his hand. He sounds just like he does on the show; everything is "hommie" and "bra." The best was when he started cheering for Danny. "GIVE 'EM A BIG OL' PIECE OF HAWAII DANNY-BRA!" I half expected him to follow it up with "No Ice In Paradise" his catch phrase on the show. Great game, Aggies. Childress really seems like he is ready to bring A&M baseball back to the top. Before too long, we'll be meeting up in Omaha, instead of in Super Regionals.
