Meat Lovers

Sometime last year I mysteriously started receiving Gourmet Magazine. It has never really paid off in the quality of recipes vs. effort to make category, but the following tidbit from their Good Living section is interesting enough to keep me thumbing through it in the future:

"Houston's love of barbecue is affecting more than cholesterol levels: A 2003 study by Rice University identified airborne particles of cooked meat as a factor in the city's smog problem."
I'm not sure what makes that 'Good Living' but I'll let you chew on that for the day.

You should try some of their recipes . I have had really good luck with a lot of their stuff.

That's an interesting study--so you have meat particles flying overhead! And I agree with you on the 'effort to make category' so I just stick to Gourmet's 10 Minute Mains and Quick Kitchen.

Hmmm, I know a couple of people who might consider meat particles in the air good living. Interesting...
