A Tablescaping We Will Go

After enjoying a long, virtually uninterrupted, reign of dominance on my table, my current tablescape was...well totally boring me. My mother introduced me to tablescapes when I first lived by myself. She rightfully pointed out that if I wasn't going to eat at my table, the least I could do was treat it to a nice centerpiece. In typical fashion I went overboard and couldn't really call it a centerpiece so much, and hence my enjoyment of tablescaping was born. I think the new fall inspired one turned out nicely. Thanks to mom for the new hurricanes, Shannon for the acorn idea, and Pottery Barn for always satiating my seasonal decorating impulses. Happy Fall!

Very pretty! I love it. We have a fake pumpkin with fall flowers in it on our table. It is super easy to do. Leave it to Martha to come up with good ideas. Of course, her pumpkin is real:)

LOVE IT! I hate you for buying that wheat bunch at Pottery Barn - I've adored it from afar for the past few years, but can't swallow the $40 cost.

Like Jenn and Steven, Susan (who actually came up with the acorn idea) and I made a faux pupmkin full of wheat, bittersweat and some twirly branches this past week. It looks pretty good if I do say so myself!
